The TREE Team (as they have now named themselves) spent Monday morning whipping up fresh bacon and egg rolls ready for staff briefing using their own produce. The bacon from the Windridge farm pigs kindly donated to school was cured and smoked with the help of Stefan from Cured Orange. The eggs was from our growing flock of chickens at PLC and Wolaroi.
This was in preparation for their upcoming attendance at the Orange Farmers Market and for the TREE launch this Friday. The students sold the rolls at $3 each (a discount for staff) and will shortly allow students to try their Christmas hams at recess and lunch. It was all very well received!
